One of the best Agents I have ever worked with .. over 40 years of dealing with agents in different states. Shelly has excellent insight into the real estate market and in the process. Tried multiple avenues of selling at her cost to facilitate the sale. Always has the interest and desires of the client in mind. Honest .. Capable .. Integrity. Exceptional!!! We would never hesitate to recommend her.
Shelly Hu and her team (esp. Mark) were excellent to work with. They were willing to jump in at a moments notice to help us. Even willing to show us an excellent Comp right before we signed papers on the house we are purchasing. They were more than happy to be both patient with us, and provide us with excellent knowledge about the many possibilities we considered from building, remodeling to a brand new home!
This is my 3rd real estate transactions with Shelly. It is for obvious reasons that I keep coming back to her in purchasing and selling my homes. Shelly is very dedicated and committed to her work and her clients. She is transparent in how she conduct her work, and she'll also give you her honest opinions of the homes, whether you like it or not (which usually is to your own benefit).
During our recent house hunting, I felt like Shelly was guiding me all the way through, making sure that I would find THE house that would meet my family's needs. Starting with the logistics of the house, the school district, the public transportation line, and many more. And she did come through and we are so glad that we have established a relationship with a great real estate professional like Shelly. I would highly recommend Shelly and her team in helping you meet your real estate needs.
Shelly was our buyer's agent. Impressed by her blogs and people's recommendations, we contacted her in early summer and started our broker-buyer relationship. We visited Bellevue last week. As expected, she and her team were knowledgeable and professional. They did a fantastic job to help us in every possible way as a buyer's agent. However, what really impressed us most was Shelly's unique ability and skills to work with clients, especially in the stage of making offers and negotiation.
Instead of being an agent or representative, she played a team leader. We worked as a team. With the amazing knowledge and experience of the Bellevue real estate market, she led us go over every single detail about the unit, our strength and weakness, and pros and cons of different offer making strategies. After long discussion and debate, she brought the team (Shelly, me and my wife) into consensus. The team came up with a plan which everyone considered the best possible bidding plan. We were pleased to see, after we submitted our offer, we kept our lead position among multiple bidders throughout the whole process.
Shelly has a deep understanding of the real estate negotiation practice. After we submitted our offer, she kept close contact with the seller's broker, calling for updates from time to time. Trying to stay as the top bidder, she negotiated hard with the seller. She persuaded us to make concessions to several less important areas but was firm on the offer price. In the final hour of the cut off day, the seller asked if we could increase our offer. Firmly Shelly said no. We were very nervous and proposed to meet the seller's demand. Shelly told us she was confident that we would win. She believed this was the best price they could get for the condo on the Bellevue market. And she was right.
We signed the P&S the following day. We are thrilled to have our future new home in beautiful Bellevue Downtown. Thank you, Shelly.
