Seattle continues to be at the top of this list because of a number of factors. It’s surrounded by clean air, water and mountains, which creates a beautiful serene environment. Job outlook and growth has rapidly increased due to tech companies migrating to the Pacific Northwest as the Greater Seattle area is poised to be the next Silicon Valley. Cost of living is also slightly cheaper than other major metropolitans such as San Francisco and New York.

Housing prices have increased over the past few years and will continue to do so as more and more people recognize Seattle’s value and desirability. It doesn’t rain as much as people think it does, but that’s one of Seattle’s best kept secrets.
